The Scott County Humane Society and Scott County Animal Shelter are separate entities and  maintain a working relationship.  The Scott County Animal Shelter is solely run by Scott County, VA.

            The shelter is located at 186 Single Tree Rd., Gate City, VA. Their hours  of operation are Monday through Friday from  8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and Saturday from 1pm - 5pm. Their phone number is 276-452-1325.
